Superintendent’s Equity Council
In response to the New Mexico Public Education Department’s call for school districts to develop Equity Councils, Maxwell Municipal Schools is pleased to invite you to be part of building an equitable, excellent, and relevant educational system that draws on the experiences and strengths of our local community. Member of the Equity Council will be part of creating strategies and tracking the progress of goals such as: Completing a Readiness Assessment and Equity Plan Creating a framework for Culturally and Linguistically Responsive school programming Tracking funding and outcomes for at-risk students. Members of the Equity Council will serve terms of either 3 or 4 years. Please let us know you are interested in this important endeavor by calling the Kris Forrester at (575) 375-3001. Veterans Day
Veterans Day Program
Please join us as our students and staff proudly present a ceremony dedicated to honor our service men and women. Music and entertainment by our students will accompany a speech by our guest of honor followed by a Quilt of Valor presentation. Thanksgiving dinner will be served in our cafeteria after the program. Monday, November 12 - 10:00 a.m. in the Maxwell Auditorium. Please RSVP by calling 575-375-3022 if you plan on joining us for the dinner.
