School Start August 13th

Dear Maxwell Families:

Welcome back for the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.  Teachers and staff are excited and energized for the start of the school year.  We hope you and your children are looking forward to the year as well.

Since the summer began, staff has participated in professional development in many areas and is continuing to improve the vertical alignment of the curriculum and assessment with Common Core State Standards to ensure that your student is ready for college and careers that they choose.  The custodial staff has been working diligently to prepare our campus for the start of the school year.

We have some new staff this year:

  • Sixth Grade Instructor:  John McElhinney
  • Principal:  John Bustos
  • Assistant Custodian:  Sarah Cobaugh

We are fortunate to have our current highly qualified staff returning to Maxwell Schools to instruct your students.

The 2018-2019 school calendar is available on the school webiste.  The calendar highlights the following to help you with your planning:

  • Early Release Days (school is released at 2pm)
